NCFE Schools
About NCFE Schools

Twenty years. One commitment to children.

NCFE Schools opened its doors at CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore, in 2006. Twenty years later, we’re a CBSE network of 3,000+ students, 200+ teachers and 4,000+ alumni — across CV Raman Nagar, Indiranagar and Mandur, with Ballari opening soon. The bet we made on day one is the same bet we’re making now: a school is only as good as its teachers, and excellence has to be inspired, not enforced.

Our vision

“To be an excellent forerunner in empowering students to be successful self-learners, who will use their acquired values, skills and knowledge to full potential and contribute to the larger community.”

We nurture active and empathetic lifelong learners with a global outlook. Inspire Excellence.

Our story

From one campus in 2006 to a network in 2026.

2006
NCFE begins

Dr. N Vijaya Kumar opens the first NCFE campus on a 7.5-acre site at CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore. CBSE-affiliated. The starting bet: a school is only as good as its teachers, and excellence has to be inspired, not enforced.

2010
First Class 10 batch

Our first cohort sits CBSE Class 10. The model is no longer an experiment — it's working. Word of mouth in East Bangalore takes over from there.

2
2017
Indiranagar campus

We open our second campus in Jeevan Bhima Nagar, Indiranagar — bringing the NCFE approach into urban Bangalore with a focus on bright, airy, smaller-section classrooms.

3
2023
Mandur campus

Our third campus opens in peri-urban East Bangalore — full Pre-Primary to Grade 12, with the green spaces and sports infrastructure that families increasingly want.

2026
Twenty years

Three campuses, 3,000+ students, 200+ teachers, 4,000+ alumni. The Ballari campus, our fourth, is nearing the end of construction.

2026/27
Ballari campus

Our first campus outside Bangalore. A 4-acre purpose-built campus bringing twenty years of NCFE excellence to families across North Karnataka.

What we believe

Five operating principles. Twenty years strong.

We use these five words to make hiring, curriculum and parent decisions every day — not on a poster, but in the meetings.

Principle
Values

Schools shape character before they shape careers. We hire and teach for honesty, kindness and the long game.

Principle
Learning

We treat learning — for children and for ourselves — as a daily practice. Every adult here is still a student of something.

Principle
Excellence

Not perfection. Not ranking obsession. Just doing each thing — a lesson, a meal, a conversation with a parent — properly.

Principle
Sense of Belonging

A child who feels they belong learns better. A teacher who feels they belong teaches better. Belonging is engineered, not assumed.

Principle
Team

No one teaches alone here. Co-planning pods, observation cycles, shared classrooms — the school is a team sport.

Leadership

What our leaders look for.

Five people who’ve built this school for two decades. Each of them has written, in their own words, what they hope to see in anyone who applies to NCFE.

DN
Dr. N Vijaya Kumar
Chairman
I started NCFE in 2006 with one simple idea — a school should help children grow into good, kind and thoughtful adults. Marks come and go. Character stays. If you believe a school is more than results, we'd like to meet you.
PV
Padmini Vijaykumar
Secretary Trustee
Working with children is a privilege. It needs patience and warmth more than anything else. If you love being around kids — and they feel it back — you'll do well at NCFE.
KV
Kiran Vijaykumar
Vice Chairman — Business Development
We are building NCFE for the next twenty years, not the last twenty. That means people who learn fast, take ownership, and use new tools — including AI — without losing the human side of teaching. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet.
KV
Keerthi Vijaykumar
Director — HR & Curriculum
Teaching is a craft. The best teachers I know are still learning — about their subject, about children, about themselves. If you treat teaching as a serious craft and want to keep getting better at it, you'll fit here.
SB
Sunalini Benjamin
Chief Operating Officer
A school runs on a thousand small things done right — buses on time, lunches hot, classrooms clean, parents heard. If you take pride in the unglamorous work of making things run, we need you.
Vision & Values

What we’re here for.

Our vision

To be an outstanding forerunner in empowering students to become successful, self-directed learners who apply their values, skills, and knowledge to their fullest potential and contribute meaningfully to the larger community.

Our AI vision

We embrace Artificial Intelligence as a catalyst for nurturing successful self-learners. Our AI-enabled digital classrooms personalise learning, making it more interactive, skill-based, and value-driven. By integrating technology with strong pedagogy, we empower students to unlock their full potential — staying true to our vision of shaping independent, ethical, and future-ready learners.

Our five core values

Learning

Education comes first. Through constant self-evaluation, we provide the best possible learning experience for every student.

Sense of belonging

We are more than a school — we are a community built on mutual care and respect, building a generation that is responsible, kind, and resilient.

Excellence

We raise our benchmarks. We encourage students and faculty alike to compete with themselves and surpass their own best.

Diversity

Every individual is unique and requires a personalised growth plan. We respect differences, champion open-mindedness, and foster empathy.

Team

We believe in the power of a team that works with sound ethics and strong morals. We instil contribution, gratitude, and selfless leadership.

We proudly celebrate 20 years of excellence — a journey built on vision, resilience, and an enduring commitment to holistic development. Two decades of nurturing curious minds, building compassionate citizens, and setting benchmarks in academic and co-curricular achievement stand as a testament to every educator who has been part of this legacy.

Help us build the next two decades.
