A day in the life.

Quiet morning

Sign in (biometric). Coffee in the staffroom. Co-planning pods meet for 25 minutes.

8:00
School starts

Children arrive. Morning circle, attendance, the day's intention.

9:00
Lessons begin

Four periods. Maximum 30–32 periods per week for classroom teachers; HODs 21–24; ACOs and above one class per week.

12:30
Lunch together

Fresh, unprocessed lunch. Teachers eat with their classes.

13:30
Quiet hour

Reading, writing, project work. The school is calm.

15:00
Planning hour

Dedicated 3:00–4:00 pm planning, ERP updates, and collaboration time. Day ends 4:00 pm sharp.

Predictable hours. No surprise weekends.

Standard hours
  • Mon–Fri: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • 2nd, 4th, 5th Sat: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (working half-days)
  • 3:00 – 4:00 pm: planning, ERP updates, collaboration
  • Saturdays: professional training & teacher-led PD
Teaching load. Classroom teachers: 30–32 periods/week. HODs: 21–24 (3 sections). Principals, VPs, Academic Coordinators: 1 class/week or 1 section/year.

Dress code

  • · English is the spoken language on campus
